Lofoten and Vesterålen – An ocean of fishing possibilities
The fjords and the sea around the Lofoten and Vesterålen islands are “filled with fish”. You will find halibut, cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, wolffish, monkfish, flounder, and if you are one of the lucky ones, you can catch a salmon or two.
Our fishing guides knows where to find the different species. The basis for an extraordinary fishing experience couldn`t be better. The fish field is often close to the starting point.
We do the fishing trips all year. What about a magnificent fishing experience in the middle of the night, guided by the Midnight Sun, or catching a fish when our girlfriend, Aurora (The Northern Lights) is dancing in the sky?
If you can’t catch a fish in our fjords, you have to be an unlucky person
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there`d be a shortage of fishing poles.

Program for our guests:
Starting point is by the floating dock at Melbu. We can arrange transport here, if needed.
You will meet the fishing guide and skipper at the starting point. His positive attitude will make the fishing trip even more enjoyable. Thereafter we speed to the fish field. What do we catch today? Which size? Which battle do we have to go through to get the fish on board? You will feel the excitement, and the result is often positive.
Did you remember your camera? Our fishing guides have good knowledge about the fish in our fjords, and they are happy to share the knowledge.
After approximately two hours, we are returning to the starting point. The hotels we are co-operating with, are ready to prepare (part of?) todays catch at a reasonable price.
