Adventure 4 Life is the new Eco-Lighthouse in Hadsel

With Robin Bolsøy, the CEO and managing director of Adventure 4 Life, the adventure and activity company Adventure 4 Life has now received the Eco-Lighthouse certificate, and is now at the forefront of environmental investment within activity-based tourism in Nordland.

Opportunities

Adventure 4 Life offers a wide range of activities to experience the nature of Northern Norway. The activities are arranged for visitors, with both simple bicycle trips and more demanding hiking trips across Hadseløya.

Here there are so many opportunities both to be able to experience nature and to convey the history behind the local communities, says Robin Bolsøy, director of Melbu Hotell and head of Adventure 4 Life.

 

The development that is taking place in the municipality now is also of great importance to us, he adds.

Important local knowledge

Adventure 4 Life wants to give travelers visiting Hadsel an authentic experience.

We focus on safety, and we rely on important local knowledge that enables visitors to have a safe experience, says Robin Bolsøy.

Among other things, the company sets requirements for clothing and shoes for participation in their trips, and on their website they provide information about the equipment required for the various of activities.

Environmentally aware

Adventure 4 Life has fulfilled a number of requirements such as becoming Eco-Lighthouse certified.

We provide training in how to drive financial business to our employees, and adapt to the public transportation routes through fixed departures to reduce unnecessary travel, says Robin Bolsøy.

The company is also concerned with trackless traffic, which, among other things, means that participants take an active part in the environmental aspects of each individual activity to ensure a minimal environmental footprint.

When guests stay at Melbu Hotell, they are guaranteed a more environmentally friendly stay. Melbu Hotell was certified as an Eco-Lighthouse in 2021, and has, among other things, introduced measures such as sorting trash, energy-saving showers in all rooms, environmentally friendly cleaning, and adapted allergy rooms.
